The visualisation of the symbiosis of light and colour in nature and their dependence on time and space through the dissolution of the horizon is the basis of this experimental study. The smoothing of the water surface of the Atlantic and the deconstruction of the clouds through exposure times of several minutes in some cases allow the sky and earth to merge and create a unique photographic painting in the Rothko style. The photos were taken in the Azores in 2018.
